Chain Store Cloud-based POS solution
Challenges
ABC provides POS solutions to the restaurant and retail industries for over 25 years. Targeting Chinese Americans, the firm has a solid customer base and provides local database POS solutions to over 5,000 business partners in the US.
However, at the end of 2017, with the increase of chain store and franchisee clients, the local database POS could no longer satisfy the thirst for big data. This was when I took immediate action and transformed the biggest pain points of these Chain Store/Franchise clients into a new business strategy.

My Role
As a product manager, my goal was to ensure that the new product line stuck to the company's vision from planning, and execution to product delivery, while dynamically collaborating with stakeholders and cross-functional teams. It was important to make sure that we positioned the product in the right market and maximized the business benefits at the same time.

The first SaaS POS that targets Asian American Chains in the restaurant & retail industry. With the new solutions, ABC rapidly expanded its customer base and increased its competitiveness in the US Market.
80% of the chains we proposed the solution to have committed business partnership contracts: ViVi Bubble Tea (70+ locations), Mr. Wish (30+ locations), TsaoCaa (25+ locations), Tbaar (45+ locations), Fay Da Bakery (11 locations), and more.
Over 85% of the current clients want to switch to the Cloud X solution.
