Challenges
This global brand is an expanding franchise brand based in China, and it has 50+ stores worldwide and is new to the US. They have the ambition of expanding their business, attracting more investors, and gaining more market share in the US market. Initially, the brand wanted a mobile/online ordering feature, but then I looked deeper into this project, and I found more opportunities for improvements than just building an ordinary ordering app for this business.

My Role
As a product manager, it's always more important to break down the core problems behind the requirements than simply working on the solutions. In this case, I proposed putting more effort into a long-term business strategy rather than sales. Instead of revenue increase, I focused more on branding strategy and customer data collection, both of could which drive more investors to the business. Thus, we redesigned the website and built a Reward App for the brand which directly contributed to the doubling of investors.

Managed the stakeholders' requirements and provided better suggestions for the long-term strategy.
The new website attracted doubled the number of investors in a month, which was way beyond the client's expectations.
An increase of 25% in sales revenue came from online ordering.
